COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Great American Chicken Co. which is a newly established and fast growing company of restaurant chains headquartered in Southern California is currently conducting a search for a well seasoned and talented Area Coach (Sr. Mgr.) and Director of Operations, to be assigned in the newly acquired store locations. These highly visible positions will be responsible for monitoring restaurant revenue, maximizing the financial performance of our restaurants, and increasing customer satisfaction, all while maintaining product quality and service.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for directing and monitoring the daily operations of the restaurants, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory, security and safety, team management, financial accountability, ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.
Engages in store management recruiting, interviewing and hiring, conducting performance appraisals and taking disciplinary action in partnership with Rest. Gen. Mgrs., as needed.
Oversees the creation and implementation of broad corporate policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
Analyzes Profit and Loss of the business, and makes necessary business decisions to enable continuous profitability of the stores;
Manages and controls labor and food costs;
Oversees repairs and maintenance requirements;
Oversees the training and supervision of restaurant managers and other administrative staff.
Provides on-site inspections and audits for each restaurant operation and initiates/participates in weekly staff meetings.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; and maintaining security systems.
Follows all requirements of the company safety program and takes personal responsibility for safety in the working environment. Promotes safety among stores.
Provides guidance to Store Managers and Supervisors in conjunction with board of directors and the executive management team, establishes and monitors long-range plans consistent with the overall profit and growth objectives.
Performs additional assignments as directed.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in Restaurant Management, Business Management, or equivalent and related field experience in restaurant management (minimum of 5 years industry experience) which includes financial management, purchasing, and food preparation.

LICENSE: Possession of or ability to obtain a valid class C California driver's license.

SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills required with proven leadership experience.
Must be computer literate in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Bilingual in English/Spanish.
