Small branding/graphic design studio is looking for a freelance production designer/assistant.

We are looking for a design student or recent graduate as an entry-level production designer to join our team on an as-needed basis. Work can fluctuate from less than part-time weekly up to 30 hours per week. You are able to work from your home and must have your own MAC computer with the latest design software.

We'd also like someone who loves social networking. We would like for you to help manage our Twitter account, Facebook account and help with blogging. Examples you have of your strengths in social networking will be a big bonus!

Pay rate is $20.00/hour.

You will assist the owner/creative director in:

- Production design projects in print
- Detailed copy edits to Illustrator and Indesign projects
- Editing/adding copy to Wordpress websites
- Studio traffic
- Special design projects as needed

You must:
- Understand the work is very unpredictable, therefore, be able to react to a varying schedule
- Meet the deadlines set for the project
- Give frequent updates on the status of projects
- Earned a minimum of a 2-year college degree in graphic design or equivalent
- Proofread your work and return work as accurate as possible, demonstrate strong attention to detail and care about delivering quality, professional work
- Be a team-player with a positive, professional, can-do attitude
- Be available during the business day for communication
- Be a self-starter, a fast-learner, not require heavy supervision, and cope well with change.
- Demonstrate strong writing skills
- Be able to multi-task among competing priorities
