This position is responsible for the daily processing of returns, Customer Master Maintenance, scheduled accounting projects as listed below and any additional accounting/operational projects as necessary.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Analysis and processing of the daily returns transmission including error investigation and correction, QI status verification, pricing errors investigation and correction, returns billing, billing errors investigation and correction, daily returns reports preparation and maintenance of daily returns log
- Logging and processing of unknown and problem returns, and working with vendors to resolve
- Participation in weekly conference calls assisting Returns Manager to resolve issues and discuss IT projects related to returns processing
- Issuance and maintenance of Returns Authorizations (R/A?s)
- Maintenance of Customer Master records in SAP, specifically setting up new customer information and maintaining existing customer information
- Performing monthly/quarterly journal entries as scheduled or necessary
- Preparation of monthly Raw Material reports for PHE Operations Department
- Preparation of quarterly PBS reports for Contract Accounting Department
- Running of monthly Returns Reports in BW system
- Calculation and preparation of DVD and VHS defective discount credits
- Various research, financial analysis and reconciliation projects as necessary
- Contacting different departments of PHE to obtain information and perform research or request action
- Requesting system improvements and/or system problem corrections from IT Department
- Flexibility, patience, great attention to details, ability to learn quickly and analytical skills are key to be successful in this position
