A successful jewelry and watch repair company is looking for a skilled Pricing Manager to oversee the pricing department and supervise 15 employees. Experience in the Jewelry industry is preferred, but not required. An ideal Candidate will have management and Process Improvement experience, special consideration for any manager who is certified LEAN SIX SIGMA or SIX SIGMA.
Responsibilities include:
Manage, improve and smooth the process flow to streamline pricing and production processes.
Demonstrate track record of designing and implementing pricing strategies that result in margin expansion
Identify and document the current pricing practices, processes, and systems and collect and document known process issues, which degrade efficiency, effectiveness or both.
Remove Non-Value-Added steps and waste.
Manage by fact and reduce variation.
Involve and equip the people in the process.
Undertake improvement activity in a systematic way.
Research market to ensure consistent pricing with competitors.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor degree from an accredited university preferred
Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma Certification preferred
Experience in the jewelry industry preferred
Understanding of pricing for jewelry or similar merchandise
A minimum of 3-10 years of experience in Management
Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook

Interpersonal/Communication/Language Skills:
Excellent communication skills -- both verbal and written
Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and people, to set priorities, and make decisions
The ideal candidate needs to be a strong communicator, and possess sound organizational and analytical skills. And because much of the job is centered around numbers, the candidate should be well-versed in math and economics as well as have good leadership and teamwork qualities.
