Genesis Engineering Redevelopment (GER) is a small and growing environmental consulting firm that provides a full line of professional environmental engineering services for the investigation, remediation, and management of environmental impacts to both private and public sector property. GER specializes in litigation support, brownfield redevelopment, and environmental site assessments. We have offices in downtown Lodi, downtown Chicago, and Queens New York. We are currently looking for qualified individuals for our Lodi office.

We are looking for talented individuals to join our team. Positions are available for staff level professionals, specifically geologists, environmental scientists, and engineers with a minimum of 2 years experience. We are NOT interested in entry level candidates at this time. Qualified candidates must offer excellent communication skills, scientific integrity, creativity, dedication and be detail oriented. We provide a self-directed, relaxed, and collaborative work environment.

Minimum Requirements for Staff lever Include:

- Degreed in Geology/Hydrogeology, Environmental Sciences, Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- Experience with Environmental Due Diligence (Phase I ESAs)
- Experience with soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects
- Field experience, including drilling and sampling
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Computer skills including MS Word and Excel
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER safety training
- Professional work and scientific ethics
- Ability to travel overnight periodically to project sites throughout Continental United States
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
- Ability to multi-task and work on a variety of projects
- Talented, creative, reliable and motivated

Responsibilities Include:
- Manage Project Tasks
- Develop and implement work plans/remedial plans and conduct field investigations
- Sampling soil, soil gas, surface water and ground water
- Overseeing boreholes and monitor well installation
- Logging subsurface geology
- Subcontractor management and direct oversight for services such as surveying and remediation
- Data compilation, QA/QC and technical analysis
- Prepare technical documents including work plans and characterization reports
