RA, an innovative architecture and interior design firm is looking for highly talented and motivated intern/ junior or intermediate Interior Designers/ Intern Architect to assist us in our current and new projects. Exceptional design and/or technical skills required. A unique portfolio of student/ professional work is essential. Strong Autocad 2d/ 3d(Sketchup, Rhino)/ Adobe CS5/ Office suite are a basic requirements. BIM (Revit)skills/ experience are a plus.
We are a young boutique Architecture and Interior design company in Santa Monica (Los Angeles), CA and Portland, OR. The position is in Santa Monica,CA. With a long background in a corporate architecture and design, we started the company in 2003 focusing on select design opportunities in the residential/ bar restaurant/ retail/ hospitality and office market merging architecture and interior design. In 2011 we left the corporate ship and started RA full-time and we were able to now build upon a strong portfolio and growing fast with an interesting variety of projects coming up. Experience in any of the followin areas is helpful:
_Retail, commercial office, fitness interiors
_Bar, restaurant, hospitality
_Single and multifamily residential
_Type V-I construction detailing
The candidate that we are looking to fill for would, depending on level of experience, assist or lead construction projects from schematic design through construction administration. We believe in a continuing involvment of our staff in all phases of the design and construction process.
