Production Manager needed for 20+ years growing business in Signal Hill / Long Beach
Excellent opportunity for experienced (5+ years) production manager.
Successful candidate will have the following experience:
1. Experience in creating and processing Work Orders
2. Ability to read and understand bills of materials
3. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
4. Experience in scheduling and managing production personnel (15-20)
5. Experience in frequent short run production, based upon expedited sales orders
6. Experience with scheduling and monitoring outside vendors (including metal finishing)
7. Must be very knowledgeable with metal fabrication
Experience with a small to mid-range accounting program such as Great Plains, Macola, MAS90/200, SAP, or other similar program, with specific knowledge of the Inventory, Work Order and Purchase Order modules.
Reasonably good typing skills and a great attitude are a must.
