POSITION: Supervisor of Rides Ticketing (Year Round Full Time)
This Full Time Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Rides and Ticketing Department, with the key emphasis on SAFETY and FRIENDLY GUEST SERVICE. This entails planning weekly staffing, scheduling department leads and line employees, overseeing daily deployment of staff, communicating policies and procedures, monitoring employee performance, reinforcing appropriate performance, and correcting problems or deficiencies.
This supervisor also tracks and controls labor and expense budgets, ticket revenue flow, ride capacities, and basic inventories. They also oversee the planning and implementation of the company's safety and loss prevention training.
The work schedule for this position is 40+ hours a week. Scheduled work shifts will vary depending on need and season, and includes working weekends and holidays.
PREREQUISITES:
Friendly and outgoing personality.
High School Diploma, two years related supervisory experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledgeable of ride operations and safety programs, preventative maintenance procedures, customer service techniques, cash handling and loss prevention procedures.
Intermediate computer experience and competency with Microsoft Word and Excel, mathematical reasoning ability, and the ability to read and interpret technical journals, government regulations, and basic accounting spreadsheets. Ability to write common memorandums and reports.
Leadership qualities and a motivational attitude a must. Must be able to communicate effectively with teens and young adults.
