We are a Leading builder of premium projects throughout the United States. Thanks to our 25+ years of experience leader in the construction industry, we are expanding, and currently searching for a dynamic Project Estimator to join us in our Los Angeles, CA office.

Primary Responsibilities Include

Prepare an accurate estimate that ensures company's competitiveness and profitability.
Must have a solid comprehension of project specifications
General knowledge of design and engineering concepts.
Must be excellent in communication, organizational skills, and critical thinking analysis.
Reviews and evaluates project plans and specifications, bid documents, and other relevant project documents to identify what is needed for a project and to create a bid proposal.
Analyzes projects for value engineering options while taking into account specific job conditions Designs electrical service systems for projects including building and pre-construction services.
Anticipates potential problems; is proactive and takes action before potential problems.
Requests material and equipment quotes from vendors and equipment suppliers. Reviews quotes to confirm adherence to quote requests and accuracy of quotes received.
Attend estimating/sales meetings, and project meetings to discuss bid status, and present/solve problems.
Must be able to review and understand electrical, mechanical, plumbing, structural and architectural drawings.
Is a team player -- a positive, well-organized, proactive force to support profit and growth of the Company.
Computer literate and knowledge of Estimating Software, MS Word, Excel and MS Project.
Ensure that the company's best interests are represented including profitability, and cost control.
