Exceptional Children's Foundation, a growing nonprofit social service agency serving clients with developmental disabilities throughout LA County, is seeking an full-time Art Instructor-Painter for our downtown Los Angeles art center. The Instructor will work one-on-one with adult students with developmental disabilities to develop their own unique artwork for sale. Will function in several media of artistic expression in addition to painting. Responsibilities also include ensuring the safety and well being of our students, and helping to maintain an overall enjoyable studio for all participants. The Instructor will implement artistic, educational, and behavioral treatment plans monthly.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree and one art skill or high school diploma, two years experience and one art skill. Knowledge and interest in contemporary art. Valid California driver license and insurable driving record.
