Job Description:
- Record daily transactions into accounting system (Peachtree)
- Create manual journal entries as needed and maintain supporting documents
- Reconcile general ledger (G/L) accounts and research and resolve discrepancies
- Analyze transactions, identify and correct inaccuracies
- Interface with business groups and team members across the organization; respond to
- Maintain month-end reporting schedule
- Ensure compliance with Company's accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Maintain financial information confidential and appropriately handle sensitive communications

RESTAURANT ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE DESIRED

Required Skills Experience
- BA or BS in (Accounting, Finance)
- At least 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with two or more of the following accounts, at transaction level and G/L reconciliation: Cash, Payable, Receivable, Prepaid, Fixed Assets, (Software) Revenue Recognition, Accruals.
- Proficient with computer programs (MS Office) and accounting software/ERP systems
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Salary: $50 - $60K (DOE) + Benefits
