We help our customers optimize their IT spend by keeping their business critical applications and IT infrastructure running 24X7 while freeing valuable staff from mundane IT functions and allowing them to focus on growing their businesses. Our company becomes the trusted advisor for all I.T. related activities including strategic consulting, business application support, data center management, internet, and NOC services.
This position is responsible for cultivating and maintaining our direct relationship with new and existing customers. You are the face of our company. The individuals we are seeking are entrepreneurial and will hold themselves to the highest ethical standards, have a strong desire for personal and professional growth; and have no problem rolling up their sleeves to achieve success. Candidates should have some technical background, and understand the basic functionality of networks, computers, etc. The position offers a base hourly pay plus incentives.
The position is located in our Los Angeles office near LAX.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Quickly grasp client I.T. requirements and work with the client to conduct needs analysis and determine most important issues and projects to solve at the beginning and throughout the relationship
Schedule weekly phone calls with client and occasionally on-site visits to build trust and a strong working relationship; essentially becoming part of their trusted team.
Monitor support ticket queues, addressing tickets as necessary and working with engineering team to ensure customer tickets are being handled on-schedule.
Schedule remote and on-site engineering service calls to address key technical issues
Work with our vendors (i.e. Ingram Micro) and our engineering team to provide quotes for new hardware/software/services for your customers
Report regularly during weekly team meeting on opportunity forecast for your customers, ticket queue status, upcoming customer needs and projects.
Work closely with customers on daily/weekly basis in regards to open support tickets, status of projects, and upcoming meetings.
Report to Director of Client Services any issues on the horizon which may become bigger fires later on if not solved quickly
Understand the customers requests and inquires in real-time. Make themselves fully available, especially when customer (or Inside Sales Rep) is going through a critical period (e.g. major systems upgrade, new employee, etc.)
Execute lead generation activities, drive account and opportunity qualification activities, and build help build sales pipeline with sales team
Create and maintain an environment that promotes positive communication and teamwork within our company.
Consistently strive to achieve organizational objectives and drive accountability to ensure specific performance standards and measurements are established and met.
Find new methods, techniques and procedures to improve and streamline existing processes and procedures in an effort to continue to exceed customer requirements.
Desired Experience and Skills:
1+ years experience managing customer relationships
General understanding of network topology including servers, firewalls, computers, etc.
Expected to have Bachelor's degree
Must be comfortable and strong using the phone as the primary interface with customers
Motivated, disciplined and self-directed
Strong follow-up skills
Must be organized, dependable and disciplined with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Must have Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Windows
Must be a US Citizen or eligible to work in the US
Ability to navigate organizations and communicate effectively with all levels of management to determine key players and their roles
Ability to handle objections and advance opportunities as quickly and effectively as possible
