CAMERON | PACE Group, the industry leader in 3D technologies and production services, is looking for an Electrical Engineer for its facility located in Burbank, CA. The qualified candidate must have a strong background in designing, construction and evaluating PCB circuit boards and equipment in support of a fast-paced, changing, creative environment.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Design, construct, modify and evaluate circuit boards and components for use within CPG's electronics and/or equipment, devices, and systems
Conduct technical analysis to validate designs, including but not limited to: trait studies, product design, system/component integration, mathematical modeling, reliability analysis (testing and debugging), and development.
Perform functional, acceptance, qualification, or development testing on new or modified designs
Perform circuit analysis to verify design compliance to specific performance targets
Produce thorough and accurate designs and develop work that meets all company requirements for schedule, cost, production ability, quality and reliability.
Prepare and review technical reports/documentation necessary to satisfy internal and program requirements, including specifications, design documents, test plans/procedures, reports, correspondence, etc.
Establish and maintain proactive communication channels with internal team and outside suppliers as required to meet project goals
Provide diagnostic support to manufacturing on new and existing products
Work closely with the PCB fab vendors to ensure necessary tolerances and testing are being met
Take on special projects as needed, and mentor others in areas of expertise

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical discipline
3-5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, which includes experience in manufacture and testing of circuit board components, including experience in test design and development
Possess a strong background in design, testing, debugging and troubleshooting, schematic capture and PCB layout.
Must have experience in the design and development of PCB analog circuitry, digital signaling kHz to 3GHz, SMT components including BGA, MLP, etc.
Ability to perform technical writing assignments in generation of test specifications, hardware requirements, and customer proposals
Good technical writing and verbal communication skills with proficient computer skills in common office software programs
Demonstration of a very cooperative, helpful attitude
Team members in all areas of the facility will be required to aid in developing a positive relationship between RD and other levels within organization
