FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER
Ace Gallery, an internationally recognized art gallery specializing in art from the 1960s to the present, is looking for a full-time, in-house Photographer who will work with the gallery Director to create and maintain Ace Gallery's photo documentation of all artworks and installations for the database and the website.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
o Photographing artworks and documenting the installations of artworks
o Assisting in the design of posters and gallery promotional materials, printed and web-based
o Working with the web designer to constantly maintain the gallery website with images of artworks and exhibitions
o Video documentation
o Scanning, retouching, and color-correcting
o Assisting in management and maintenance of digital and film image filing systems
o Digital and film archiving
o Fulfilling image requests, printing, and troubleshooting
o Documenting gallery events and exhibition openings

REQUIREMENTS:
o BFA in Photography (or equivalent experience)
o Must own all equipment: 4x5 format film camera, digital format film camera, lighting equipment, non-print, etc.
o 3-5 years related work experience as a fine art photographer
o Knowledge of contemporary art and significant art individuals
o Proficiency with Mac computers and Photoshop
o Must be punctual
o Very organized and meticulous
o High reasoning ability
o Very organized and meticulous with a critical eye and attention to detail

Salary commensurate with experience.
