Graphics Installers (Marina Del Rey)

Graphics Installers (Marina Del Rey)

The Basics:
Looking to hire 3-4 installers with experience in vinyl graphics, large format printed graphics, self adhesive wall coverings, wallpaper, vehicle wraps, some painting, and basic assembly skills.

About us:
We are a small, but established (and busy!) design firm that handles not only installs of our own creations, but that of larger print houses nationwide. We're currently looking to expand our forces in the Southern California area.

What we're looking for:
A great personality! We pride ourselves in hiring more than just laborers. Fact is, when you're on site installing, you're representing not only our company, but often the larger companies we install for. Making everyone look good is of the utmost importance!
Great, versatile, skills! Every day presents a unique challenge. Some days are as simple as applying a few window decals, while others involve wrapping a vehicle, constructing aluminum superstructures and stretched fabric, or even full on, printed wall murals or barricade graphics. Our ideal candidate would possess all of these skills, but we're also willing to work with those who have basic skills and are eager to learn new ones.
An ability to adapt to adversity. Not all installations go as planned. The ability to think on the fly, troubleshoot, and come up with solutions to any issues that may arise, is a must!
Attention to detail! Because our installations are closer to works of art than simple signs, we require our installers to be semi-perfectionists. No, "eh, close enough" attitudes here. At the end of the day, you as an installer should want to take pride in what you've just put out there for the world to see!
A strong work ethic! Although we like to have fun, we're also not fans of lazy people. There's no reason you can't have a good time and be productive as well!
Although we do have a company van (and a pretty kick-ass van I might add), ladders, tools, etc, it would be a big plus if you had a truck or van of your own.
A cell phone, access to a computer and internet, basic installation tools, and reliable transportation.
Great English speaking and writing skills. Spanish is a big plus as well.

Pay/Benefits:
At the moment, we're looking to hire on a contract basis only. Full time employment may be an option in the near future if we work well together.
Pay will be an agreed upon, hourly rate, based on experience.
A 10% commission on any business you bring in, will be payed above and beyond your base hourly rate.
In the event you use your own vehicle for work related projects, compensation/reimbursement will also be negotiated

Other things:
Although most installations happen within a 40 mile radius of Los Angeles, we do occasionally venture outside of that area for larger installs so some travel may be required.
T-Shirts, basic tools (blades, squeegees, etc) will be provided.
Hours can vary greatly week to week and sometimes happen after normal hours, so flexibility is key.

If this sounds interesting to you and you think you have what it takes to be an asset to this growing company, please send a resume, links to any portfolios, etc, to:
