Small ad agency in WLA has an Independent Contractor position available. This position is for a Junior Graphic Designer/Production Artist.
Contract term is currently 3 months, but could potentially lead to an extended contract term OR full time on-staff position.
We offer a great work environment, innovate creative team, and love what we do. We're only now starting to rebuild our team after having to downsize in 2009,
so please understand the terms/salary that are being offered are not negotiable at this time.
Primary duties include:
Taking main promotional design created by Sr Designer and translating to other formats/components within a given campaign
Light concepting work may be required at time for new projects
Updating existing layouts as required based on client/management provided edits
Prepping final files for printing and/or web use
Skills required:
Must be proficient in all CS programs (InDesign; Illustrator; Photoshop)
Must be proficient on a MAC
Must be able to adhere to strict deadlines and manage time efficiently
Attention to detail is an absolute must
Must be proficient in building and prepping clean files for production
Producing print items a must (i.e. direct mailers; brochures; posters, newspaper/magazine ads)
Producing standard digital assets (web banners, website icons)
Other information:
Will be required to work on site at our office; Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5 pm
This is a contract position for 3 months; depending on performance during this term, contract could be extended or turn into a full-time staff position
