Ronan Engineering Company, a global manufacturer of instrumentation for the process control and power generation market has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Application Engineer. The successful candidate will be based in Valencia, California, USA.
Responsibilities:
The Engineer must posses the ability to absorb a thorough, in-depth understanding of the entire Ronan Engineering product line, and develop the ability to engage in communication with outside entities such as Representatives, Engineering Firms, and end-users or customers, who rely heavily on engineering support for the specification, application and direction on service of the full Ronan Engineering portfolio, to include process control equipment, such as alarm annunciators, sequence-of-event recorders, and density and level systems. This Engineer must develop the ability to demonstrate equipment to Ronan Representatives, potential end-user customers and engineering companies.
Requirements:
The candidate must have experience with SCADA, PLCs, DCS and network control systems, and a minimum of three years in process control environment, and a very strong background with software driven products. Furthermore, the candidate must have the ability to become proficient in the application of all product lines and be proficient in MS Office; WORD, EXCEL, Power Point and Outlook.
Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
