Office Manager for Leading Asset Management Firm

We are seeking an Office Assistant for our growing Manhattan Beach office. The Office Assistant supports the Manager, Corporate Branding Development and VP, Human Resources with a variety of administrative office tasks.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Ordering and maintaining office and kitchen supplies to keep the office functioning properly
- Reviewing employee expense reports to ensure appropriate documentation is provided
- Assisting with accounts payable including check writing, copying of invoices, creating files and inputting invoices into monthly cash worksheets
- Making travel arrangements for out-of-town visitors
- Producing PowerPoint presentation documents as necessary
- Assisting with distribution and collection of new hire forms
- Assisting with benefits administration including new hire enrollments and invoice cross-checking
- Assisting with the maintenance of employee files
- Maintaining company org charts in PowerPoint
- Placing lunch catering orders as necessary
- Other duties and special projects as assigned

Key Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of general office experience is ideal.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task are important.
- A sense of urgency and willingness to help out wherever needed is critical.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
