Relativity Accounting Finance, a full-service recruitment and staffing firm is currently seeking strong Senior Accountant candidate with public accounting experience to join their Financial Reporting Group within the Greater Los Angeles area.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:
- Preparation of financial statements, assist with preparation of schedules for various audits
- Assist with consolidation of US operations on a monthly basis; assist with maintenance of consolidation system
- Assist with preparation of financial reporting packages for parent company
- Perform financial analysis, budget analysis, variance analysis and ad hoc analysis as needed
- Account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Assist with semi-annual IFRS audits, maintain new accounting and auditing pronouncements as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Thorough knowledge of US GAAP reporting, consolidations, cash flows, debt and equity experience
- Two plus years of public accounting experience within a Big 4 CPA firm or National Firm
- One plus years of financial reporting experience preferred
- Previous real estate experience highly desired
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification
- Experience with Hyperion desire but not required
- Intermediate to advance Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interface with various levels of management team
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
