Senior Accountant

A Multi- Million dollar Cosmetics Company is seeking a full-time accountant. This is the opportunity to join a fast growing company and help us get to the next level. This position will handle all accounting functions and will report directly to the owner and the part-time CFO. We expect this person to hit the ground running and handle all day-to-day functions and grow with the company. This position will work independently and be expected to get the day to day functions done with very little supervision. This is an opportunity to take charge of our one person accounting department. Salary will depend on experience.

Hours: From 9:00AM until 5:00PM with a 30 minute lunch.

Title: Senior Accountant

DUTIES INCLUDE:
1 Accounts Payable
2 Accounts Receivable
3 Cash flow management
4 Bank Reconciliations / Account Reconciliation
5 Cosmetics Related
A. Distribution Experience
B. Trade Show Experience
C. Website Sales Experience
D. Payroll -- Manage outside payroll firm
E. Profit Loss Statement by Customer and Product Line
6 Financial Reporting / Income Statement / Balance Sheet /Preparation of Tax schedules for outside CPA.
7 Ad-hoc reporting and any other duties necessary to run the accounting department.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Strong accounting knowledge / Minimum Beginning Accounting classes and Intermediate Accounting and Excel.
* Microsoft Office Products / Excel, Word, Outlook,
* Quick Books / Required / Enterprise helpful not required.
* Ability to communicate well both verbally and written
* Ability to multi-task / get things completed on time
* Ability to get along well with peers and customers
* Accounting Degree / desirable but not required
