The owner of a super fast pace physical therapy clinic is looking for a part time receptionist/ administrative assistant for medical office needs. The owner is looking for someone who can multitask quickly, who is highly organized, who has great follow through, a team player, and a great communicator.

You are the right person if ......
1. You enjoy being face-to-face with people and can handle yourself with professionalism and compassion in a medical wellness environment. When doing work in the clinic, you will be in the presence of patients working with our clinical staff toward recovery from an injury, pain or weakness. We will expect you to promote our company core values of physical health and wellness and be an example for others to follow.
2. You are able to handle multiple daily tasks and complete them in a timely manner. Should you run out of time to complete expected tasks, we expect you to take the initiative to determine if and when you can have the tasks completed and report to the Owner.
3. You are professional, on-time to your work shifts, extremely organized, neat, considerate of shared work space, and able to think off of your feet!


At times, you will be the only one manning the front desk.

Administrative duties: Filing, faxing, copying, taking inventory of office supplies, organizing and restocking. You will need to make sure we have ample copies of specific documents handy at all times. You will be in charge of our company email: received e-faxes, patient requests, team member requests, etc. You will also be in charge of making sure patient charts are complete and updated with required documents and signatures, verifying patient benefits with insurance companies, tracking payments received and keeping an active call log.

Customer Service duties: answering phone calls, assisting with patient check in/ check out, collecting payments at the time services are rendered, scheduling preparing new patients for their first visit, and collecting surveys, video testimonials and thank you postcards. You must have great phone and people skills to do this job well. Lastly, you will assist the clinic in daily upkeep: reorganizing the lobby and front desk station: magazines, charts, files, cabinets, etc.

This job is not for everyone but the right person will love it. The job hours are 20 to 28 hours per week.

Starting pay: $12-14 PER HOUR, benefits optional, vacation pay earned.

Requirements:
COLLEGE DEGREE PREFERRED but not required if extremely professional, tactful, and smart. Great candidates are those who have worked in a fast paced environment before. Excellent computer skills is a must. Such as excel, word, outlook, internet researching, etc. Great writing skills is a must as well. Probationary period is 60 days. ONLY VERY SERIOUS and very confident people should apply. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
