The Data Services Clerk responsibilities include collecting, verifying and entering print media advertising rate information into the Company's proprietary database; collects and reviews rate cards and other media kit information to determine which information needs to be added or updated in the database; accurately enters information or downloads information contained on spreadsheets; uploads advertising documents into the system such as media kits, LOA, Audit Report, and circulation distribution; contacts vendors for information missing from rate cards/media kits; and maintains and may create spreadsheets to manage large quantities of data.
Skills required: Must have knowledge of personal computer software such as Microsoft Office, ability to communicate through the use of an email program, and have a familiarity with using the internet. Ability to use, create, and modify spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
Education and Experience: Associate of Arts degree (A. A.) from an accredited college or technical school; one year of work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
