Licensing Submissions Coordinator -- Apparel Industry

An established and successful Fashion Apparel Company in the San Fernando Valley is seeking an experienced Licensing Submissions Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience in addition to a results driven and team oriented attitude. Principal Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Submit art and samples to licensors for approval in 3 stages; concept submission, pre-production sample submission and final contractual sample submissions
Track and follow through with obtaining approvals and comments from licensors
Serve as liaison between and work closely with design and production on art and sample approval for all stages of development and production
Maintain, update and communicate all licensor comments, feedback and approvals to the creative directors and production team managers
Review and manage line sheets and confirm licensor approval on all styles on order prior to ship dates
Manage and maintain licensor property list and library of style guides adding new licenses or removing discontinued licenses as needed as directed by the VP of Licensing
Assist with sales and royalty report inquiries

Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in managing and coordinating the licensing submission process
Experience with completing on line licensor submission sites
Highly organized and able to work independently
Versatility in a fast paced environment
Excellent verbal written communication skills
Strong working knowledge in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop, Excel and Word
