Superintendent (Los Angeles )

General contractor specializing in multi-family housing renovation seeks a Superintendent.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

Significant experience in one of the construction trades
A basic understanding of all major trades
A thorough understanding of the construction process
A minimum of three years experience as a superintendent
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with OSHA requirements
Willingness to travel
Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Must be able to work as a team member.
MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK

Responsibilities include:
In consultation with the Project Manager: scheduling and supervision of construction crews and subcontractors
In consultation with the Project Manager: ordering materials and managing suppliers
Administering on-site safety training and filing required safety reports
Submission of the required job progress reports
Assisting with any hands-on labor necessary to complete the job

A college degree is desirable but not required.
Experience in multi-housing construction desirable but not required
Experience with Sage Timberline Estimating desirable
Bilingual desirable but not required
