Flower Pepper Gallery Bookstore in Old Town Pasadena is in search of a director/manager:
Requirements:
- People Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- B.A. from four-year university in art history or other art related majors is preferred, previous experience at a gallery or museum is a must, proven experience in selling contemporary art pieces
- Reliable, professional, motivated, hardworking, punctual, and friendly
- Tasks include curating and installing exhibitions, maintaing the gallery and bookstore, promoting the art gallery bookstore, and its events to the community, performing discipline specific responsibilities and duties as assigned, sales and customer relations, etc.
- Ability to multi task
- Mac PC skills required: Register/POS Operations, Microsoft Office, Google Doc, Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube...)
- Gallery hours is 11: 30 am to 7: 30 pm from Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 8 pm Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm Sunday.
