JOB SUMMARY:
Primary role to prepare customer supplied art into press ready files for production. Prepare files for flat pieces, die-cuts, folding products, scores, booklets, and promotional products such as magnets in a fast pace product environment. Assist interdepartmental personnel with production art questions. And produce proofs.

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare customer supplied art into press ready files
Proficient use in applications: InDesign, Photoshop, illustrator and Acrobat, QuarkXpress
Basic use in applications such as: CorelDraw, Publisher, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preflight and correct art per company procedure and standards
Assists other production artists with techniques in prepping files
Meet and exceed production volume requirements
Meet and exceed quality requirements
Performs with team to complete daily production volume requirements
Attend Prepress meetings
Helps maintain and strengthen interdepartmental relationships
Cross-trained to perform imposition and plate production tasks
Communicates with operators and/or supervisors of any issues during production for training and awareness purposes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must meet the following minimum requirements:
Some College preferred with a minimum of 2-3 years experience
Candidate should posses a strong work ethic with a positive attitude
Must have flexible availability preferably to work the 2nd shift
Have the desire to be part of a team and work well with co-workers and upper management
Candidate should be detail-oriented
Ability to communicate well with others, both written and oral
