SALES AND MARKETING DATA ANALYST (retail experience preferred)
We are a fast growing, full service marketing agency in the West San Fernando Valley.
Our clients include well-known brands such as: Sunkist, Green Giant and Chiquita. We work on their behalf to develop data-centric marketing and category management strategies as well as reporting tools and reports which are presented to Walmart, Kroger, Safeway and other retail chains.
Our Marketing Operations Group is looking to fill a new position with someone who will create and manage the development and implementation of our client oriented retail reports, research and services.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. A candidate with experience in retail and an understanding of retail data (category management) is a definite plus!
The candidate will design and build report templates and formulas, create pivot and data tables, develop charts/graphs, and write concise and insightful business analysis using proper grammar. This person will also QC category reports developed by our analysts to ensure the highest level of accuracy and quality.
This person will work closely with third party suppliers and data vendors as well as communicate with key clients on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Strong analytical skills
Senior level skills with Excel
Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and organization
Solid understanding and experience working with multiple data sets
Ability to QC data, reports, graphs and text with great accuracy to ensure integrity
Ability to write in simple, grammatically correct Business English
Ability to work with third party data vendors
Experience working with and managing databases is a definite plus
Able to meet tight deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred)
Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills
Ability to communicate and interact effectively
Ability to be an effective team member and manage multiple projects
