Luther Burbank Savings is looking for a Vendor Management Director for our Manhattan Beach, CA office.

Position Summary: The Vendor Management Director is responsible for assisting the business unit third party relationship managers with negotiation of contracts, as well as the evaluation, definition and design of the bank's Vendor Management Program. This position will assist business partners in completing vendor requirements, ensure that contracts meet bank contract standards, maintain the vendor program/procedures, and review all regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

Duties Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Vendor Management framework, program, policies, processes, standards, and practices to include, but not limited to the mitigation of vendor risks, compliance with regulatory requirements, escalation and resolution processes and acceptable business continuity plans.
Manage and negotiate the due diligence and vendor contracts with the relevant business unit to ensure that business requirement and all bank contract standards are met. Review vendor due diligence components of projects.
Provide support to business partners, Internal Audit, and Examiners relative to the full range of vendor management requirements, including contract negotiations as well as internal, external, and regulatory exams.
Provide analysis of vendor management activities and recommend changes to management, and board and management committees.
Review and update vendor management procedures, Security Questionnaire, and other forms, as necessary.
With input from lines of business, identify and implement enhancements and improvements to vendor relationships, including service levels, quality standards, and invoicing. Monitor for consistent compliance with all vendor related policies.
Perform vendor reviews, which may include site visits of critical vendors, and continually improve the vendor review process. Site visits will require the ability to assess physical, administrative, and technical controls in addition to business processes.
Maintain the Vendor Management requirements within the Vendor Management system, ensuring correct information required to substantiate the ongoing monitoring process.
Provide management reporting of all aspects of vendor management, including quarterly and annual Board reporting.
Provide training information and/or training assistance concerning vendor management.
Adheres to all applicable compliance regulations, including BSA, BPA and Right to Financial Privacy.
Demonstrates a commitment to fair lending.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; prefer a Juris Doctor's degree.
Eight to ten years experience in contract negotiation and/or vendor management; ten years experience in the financial industry preferred; five years managing outsourced relationships preferred.
Significant experience in negotiating contracts.
Experience in the evaluation of all risks related to outsourcing, and managing the performance of vendors and staff.
Familiarity with industry-specific laws, regulations and practices.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of appropriate software systems.
