OVERALL PURPOSE:
We need a Accounting Analyst who can come into our company and help us handle everything from accounting to finance to bookkeeping to payroll to management. The position is perfect for someone recently obtained a 2 or preferably 4 year degree in Accounting/Finance/IT and is looking to learn a ton in a hands-on, high-growth company.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist our head accountant with accounting duties
Analyze financial data to help make management decisions
Keep our Quickbooks up to date on a near real-time basis
Help set up systems process to make the company more efficient
Communicate clearly through writing speaking with our clients, tech people and salespeople
Be willing to jump in and help get any job done
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel and manipulating large data sets in a variety of ways
Talented with formatting page setup in Microsoft Word
VERY clear communication both verbal written
Experience with Quickbooks or Google Docs is a big plus
Knowledge/experience with accounting systems and how they are used
Expert web user (people regularly ask you questions on how to get things done)
COMPENSATION:
Depends on the candidate. Will range from $30-40K per year starting. Review/significant raises at 1 3 months after start.
