Account Representative (Arcadia | Monrovia)

We have a great opportunity for an Account Representative for a large well established mail order company. You must be OUTGOING, FRIENDLY, and have the passion for speaking with people on the telephone to take orders and SELL additional products to our loyal customers.

Your last job MUST have been either an Account Representative or a Customer Service Representative with emphasis on SALES in an office desk environment. Do not apply if you cannot meet these criteria.

The Job:
Your primary duties will be taking inbound telephone calls from our customers, order entry, selling our products, and heavy email correspondences. This is a full time position M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in an office desk setting. Some overtime is also required as needed.

Job Requirements (please read carefully):

Last or current job as an Account/Customer Service Representative in an office desk setting
Friendly, upbeat, helpful, and caring telephone personality - (a real people person)
The ability to offer and sell additional products to customers -- (loves to make a sale)
Energetic with the ability to multitask - (phones, data entry, emailing)
Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral - (heavy email correspondence)
Data/Order entry in a Windows computer environment (computer savvy)
Microsoft Office experienced (Outlook, Word, and Excel) -- (MUST be Outlook experienced!)
Typing 65+ WPM

AFTER you meet the above requirements, extra consideration will be given if you have:

Social Media Marketing experience (Facebook Marketing, Blogging, Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing)
You have editorial writing and marketing experience (can you write a story while selling a product?)
Print production and graphic layout experience (oversee editorials, printing, and marketing materials)
Worked for an E-Commence company
