OPPORTUNITY:
The Cluster Business Manager will serve as the "COO" for a number of schools referred to at Green Dot as a "cluster". ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Cluster Director (Area Superintendent) in running day-to-day non-academic operations (e.g. finance, plant, IT, security, transportation)
Serve as liaison between Home Office departments and schools to ensure implementation of best practices in school operations
Assist principals in managing individual school budgets
Develop and implement trainings for school site staff to maximize efficiency within the school offices
Lead special projects (e.g. school moving from temporary to permanent facility; improving attendance across schools)
Assist the COO and management team on special projects and initiatives as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years' experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical professional environment. Ideal candidate will have worked in: management consulting, financial services, corporate strategy, operations, successful start-up company
2+ years' experience managing others in a professional environment
A demonstrated passion for improving K-12 public education
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience with budgets and strong quantitative skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Ability to quickly build strong interpersonal relationships
Ability to multi-task and handle diverse high-pressure environments
Bachelor's degree required, Graduate degree preferred (MBA, MPP, etc.)

COMPENSATION:
