The Receptionist is the first point of contact for callers and visitors of the company. Primary duties are to answer telephones (Avaya multi-line phone system) and direct calls in a professional manner, manage incoming and outgoing faxes and deliveries, as well as track vacation and sick time of all employees. Other duties include helping open and direct mail, scanning, updating spreadsheets, mass mailings, providing some clerical assistance to other departments, as well as maintaining common areas, such as the front reception area, conference room and kitchen.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; business courses/some college preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to use various standardized word processing and spreadsheet software required; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access software preferred
- Familiarity with standard electronic office machines (phones, copiers, fax)
