Women's contemporary fashion startup company is seeking a design/product development intern.
Must be an apparel design student or recent graduate with an interest in becoming an assistant designer. Should have experience with Illustrator and/or Photoshop, Word and Excel. A good understanding of garment construction from sketch to sample is preferred. Attention to detail is crucial.
Must be available at least two days per week, and have a car.
You will receive training and gain experience in all areas of design, production, sales and administration.
This is a small design studio, where interns will be participating in all areas of studio functions from working with the design director/founder, communicating with contractors, maintaining databases and keeping the studio organized.
This internship is best suited for an individual who can work independently and make sound decisions on their own.
