Graphic Designer -- Licensed Consumer Products

We are a fast paced children's furniture manufacturing company specializing in multiple licenses, with a customer base that includes major retailers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Create original graphic compositions and prints/patterns for character specific product lines.
-Create and develop art appropriate for prints and other techniques. Adapt all approved layouts to various formats.
-Work closely with Merchant and Creative Lead to influence appropriate artwork development for product categories to utilize in creating graphics and prints.
-Determine artwork placement for individual children's furniture products
-Provide technical instruction for factories/vendors.
-Strong ability to work with a team, as well as independently, in a EXTREMELY fast-paced dynamic environment.
Develop strong working relationships with cross functional team members (Merchandising, Production and Design) through communication and problem solving.
-Acts as an expert resource on graphic product aesthetic and graphics processes.
-Acts as a technical resource for the Merchant and Production staff regarding the production of graphics

REQUIREMENTS:
Expert in Adobe CS Programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
Experience with a variety of graphic design techniques a plus.
Knowledge of fabric printing a plus
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities.
Ability to design and create original artwork, prints and patterns
3D Mock Up experience is a plus
Must be able to operate in an extremely fast pace environment
