Interiors Textile Company Looking for Part-Time Intern (Agoura)

High-end Interiors Fabric company looking for an intern with an interest in textiles and the interior design industry to assist with daily activities at our textiles office and warehouse. Responsibilities include daily operational duties; answering phones, organizational tasks, filing, fulfilling sample request, and other in warehouse help. Intern will also be expected to perform certain directional tasks related to customer research, data input, assisting with fabric presentations, running business errands and other duties as needed. Therefore, mandatory, candidates have their own car for such.

Candidates must have a strong interest in customer service. Person is to be punctual, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, have a positive attitude, and must be professional in both disposition and demeanor, as a representative of a high-end brand is expected. Ideal candidates should have knowledge of the interior design industry and have a desire to learn about the textile trade.

Must be computer literate with proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Excel and Word, (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator a definite bonus for consideration), Windows and Mac experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Interior Design resources, websites, shelter magazines, blogs and social media outlets desirable.
This position is an unpaid internship with school credit and resume building as compensation. All approved work related expenses including mileage for errands will be reimbursed.
