Job Description
The role is an Analyst for the Corporate Client Banking group in Los Angeles. As part of its wholesale business, we offer traditional commercial banking products as well as investment banking services such as merger and acquisition advisory services, public securities underwriting, private placements and loan syndications, among other investment banking services.
Working in a team environment, the analyst will have access to senior officers of the firm and senior clients. You are challenged to perform at the highest levels of excellence and are rewarded for your achievements in a demanding environment. In this Analyst Program the analyst works with other professionals as a team drawing from the full spectrum of the firm's resources to develop customized financial solutions to meet the needs of prospects and clients with revenues generally ranging from $250 million to $5 billion.
Required: A current Analyst who has functioned as an analyst and attended an intensive IB Analyst Training Program at a major financial institution.
The Analyst will work with Managing Directors, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents and Associates, assisting them with their development of prospect and client relationships and structuring of complex financial transactions. The Analyst's position will support the Western Regions Groups' efforts for Corporate Client Banking.
Responsibilities are:
- Industry and Credit analysis
- Financial modeling and comparable analyses;
- Pitch book preparation;
- MA advisory and capital markets analytical support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Analyst
- Completed an IB Analyst Training Program at a major financial institution (DO NOT APPLY If you have not met this requirement)
- Bachelors degree with outstanding academic credentials min. GPA 3.2
- Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills including PowerPoint "PitchPRO" and Excel based modeling
- High level of motivation, dependability, intelligence a team player
- Excellent references, reviews and referrals from your managers
- Permanent and/or unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
