NYC-based Private Equity / Merchant bank seeks serious, conscientious, career-oriented students to serve as Corporate Finance interns
for existing in-house transactions and business platforms. This internship program provides an inside look at financial modeling
and an opportunity to participate in cutting edge transactions taking place in the private equity and merchant banking industry,
with a focus in the micro-and mid-cap range of capitalizations.

We are a results oriented financial company in mid-town Manhattan. You will work
closely with senior level management, industry professionals, financial deal makers
and supporting vendor service providers (lawyers, accountants, valuation and appraisal
specialists, etc.), and be brought into a close team environment. Additionally, the intern
will learn the responsibility of working independently and autonomously for their
respective 'job assignments.' The job will consist primarily of financial modeling,
structuring, analyzing, providing projections, and template set-ups to be 'tweaked' as
well as interactions with the various levels of financing and equity funding vehicles
appropriate to each situation. Aside from learning extensively about the capital markets,
structures, and formats for various transactions, be they start-ups, existing companies or
special situations, the candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of professionals and
learning opportunities as they relate to contract law, securities, GAAP accounting and the
investment industry.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about corporate finance, private equity
and investments, as well as Alternative Asset Class Hedge Industry Investments and Wall
Street. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong academic record and be highly
and seriously motivated, and accountable as well as 'self-directing' and responsible,
working well independently with minimum supervision as well as with the team.

We are seeking the following skills, strengths and requirements:

1. Must be in NYC and available for face-to-face meetings.
2. Good English fluency, but open to foreign students.
3. Build and refine financial models using packaged 'proprietary software,' as well as integrate custom Excel work into our Financial Packages and PPMs.
4. Calculate by various measures ROIs, IRRs and NPVs.
5. Model a host of Cash Flows.
6. Analyze individual deals and comparables within a given industry.
7. Put together presentations in PowerPoint.
8. Education: the appropriate course work in finance, accounting, economics; 3rd year in undergrad or higher; no beginners.

Part time position, depending on which project or deal you are working on, and
your availability to devote seriously to the internship program.
