QUALITY MANAGER (Santa Clarita Valley)
Excellent company in high growth mode seeks Quality Manager. Must have experience working with AS9100 and ISO.
Responsibilities include:
Establish procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
Determine and enforce -- through functional groups -- quality and safety requirements in accordance with real company needs, based on current regulations, current quality certifications, and state-of-the-art product development.
Organize and promote companywide quality improvement efforts.
Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality, reliability, and safety.
Directly responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system.
Report on the performance and maintenance of the system for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system.
Interact with internal and external parties on matters relating to the quality system.
Requirements:
 Should have a 4-year technical degree, preferably in a field that offers as opportunity to gain a well-rounded background, or equivalent.
 A minimum of 5 years of broad technical experience, of which two or three years should be in quality administration and/or quality engineering, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years in managing technical personnel and complex activities. These experiences should be gained in areas of engineering or technical operations and should include a minimum of two years in quality management, or equivalent experience.
Experience and training in AS9100 and ISO a must, others need not apply.
