The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for an experienced full-time CAD Designer / Interior Designer to support both our project Space Planning requirements and 3D Visualization Requirements. Daily duties will be generating furniture plans for various projects using AutoCad and CAP 20/20 as well as creating 3D Renderings for project presentations. This is not an entry level position. Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in the commercial furniture industry or will have worked for an architectural firm with heavy space planning, furniture specification and 3D Visualization experience.
Skills / Qualifications Required:
High Level of proficiency with AutoCad and CAP 20/20 to create furniture plans and elevation drawings.
High Level of proficiency in 3D Architectural Rendering (3D Studio Max and V-Ray preferred).
High level of proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
Knowledge of contract office furniture lines.
Systems Furniture planning and re-configuration experience.
The ability to multi-task between different job functions and projects and work quickly and accurately under pressure while prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
4-Year Degree.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A team player.
At least 3 years experience in contract furniture industry.
Salary: Based on experience and skill level.
