I. PURPOSE OF POSITION
Serve as Graphic Designer for all Global Marketing creative needs.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Graphic Designer will work with Marketing team and other designers on the overall visual appearance of the brand and how it communicates to the target audience. Ideal candidate has a "big picture" mentality and will play a huge roll in developing the visual language that defines the brand.
The Graphic Designer will work on a variety of projects of visual communication including: print advertising, outdoor, look books, catalogs, collateral, signage POP and web campaigns including digital media and e-commerce creative.
Interpret and apply seasonal creative briefs to all marketing materials.
Produce creative and impactful marketing materials quick and accurate turn-around.
Graphic designer must have knowledge and skills to support projects with overall art direction as needed.
Previous art direction experience a must with a strong portfolio.
In addition performs production tasks for all backgrounds, banner, navigational elements, graphic images, icons, titles, etc., including: Scanning, Cropping, Creating images in Photoshop/Illustrator/Quark.
Assures that each graphic element meets the job-appropriate specifications, including: Resolution, Color palette (web-safe colors), Optimizing for the Web.
Delivers final graphic elements to production for inclusion in the final product.
Meets with Marketing team to gain an understanding of the audience and the message to be conveyed.
Develops and discusses ideas for the look, tone, and feel of the piece to be designed.

IV. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Certifications
Bachelor degree in graphic arts, graphic design, web design and illustration, digital media, or a related artistic discipline.
Experience and Skills
Minimum of 3-5 years related work experience
Strong marketing, branding and design sensibility
Proficient in all design related programs. Intimate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
A solid understanding of the principles of design and the ability to apply them to complex tasks are crucial
Experience working with large brands is preferred
Creative problem solving, communication skills, and decision-making skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
A strong aesthetic sense and excellent attention to detail
Ability to carry out a concept from start to completion and work independently
Multi-tasking: work on more than one design brief at a time
Hand-crafted skills and a passion for fashion, art, design and photography are preferred
