We are a dynamic privately held investment firm located in the Westwood area of Los Angeles. Our acquisitions and operations primarily include commercial real estate, feature film production, domestic and international manufacturing.
We are looking for a seasoned controller to oversee the accounting department. The candidate must be very organized with strengths in maintaining multiple general ledgers, analyzing financial statements, implementing policies and procedures, assist with preparation of income tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals, establishing and implementing internal accounting controls, manage cash and assist with risk management.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business preferably with an emphasis in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a controller including a minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns. Experience with Yardi, Great Plains and QuickBooks accounting software is a plus.
