Carson firm looking to hire an experienced construction foreman/superintendent
Foreman/Superintendents are responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site management. Our Foreman/Superintendents serve as the point person on each jobsite, working in conjunction with Project Managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capable and willing to supervise projects ranging from $100K up to $10 Million.
- Allocate field personnel so each job is appropriately staffed.
- Review plans, specifications and schedule to ensure thorough understanding of the scope of work.
- Generate Sign in/Sign out log at each job site.
- Communicates daily with the PM.
- Supervise field laborers and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Participates in kick off meetings.
- Update 2 week look ahead schedules on Microsoft project.
- Documents job from start to finish.
- Understands Building Rules and Regulations.
- Maintains a clean job site at all times.
- Documents punch lists.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 + years of experience including multi-phased renovation projects. Ground up project experience up to $10 Million a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Understanding of technology required onsite.
- Must be enthusiastic and professional.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Direct work experiences a plus.
- Computer skills with word, excel, Microsoft Project Scheduling program.
- Suretrak experience a plus.
- OSHPD experience a plus.
