Local boutique tax firm located in Woodland Hills Warner Center, specializing in international taxation and advisory services, is seeking a self-motivated individual to join the firm with an interest in international taxation. We are a small specialized firm providing high quality client services. Full-time or part-time position available. Part-time position averages 30 hours per week. Company compensation offered at competitive rates according to experience.
Duties will include:
Prepare specialized reports for foreign income reporting using Microsoft Office Access
Prepare income tax returns for resident and non-resident individuals and entities
Perform tax research and analysis
Handling IRS and state correspondence
Multi-tasking several projects efficiently and effectively
Effectively communicate with upper management and clients
Take initiative in contributing to the firm professionally, technically, and administratively
Skills:
Degree in accounting required
2-4 years experience in a CPA firm including income tax preparation of individual and various entities
CPA preferred
Must have exceptional organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail
Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook
Experience using GoSystem Tax RS, Lacerte, and Checkpoint
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and capable of working to meet short deadlines
