We are:
The Famous Group, an integrated production shop in beautiful downtown Culver City. We do a wide range of work including broadcast spots, documentaries, online content, interactive microsites, Facebook apps, mobile apps, portals, social media campaigns and stuff that'd be impossible to categorize. We work with great agencies and brands -- Google, ATT, Sony, the NFL, Pepsi, DreamWorks, Lexus, Gatorade, Nestle, and many others. Our company is made up of passionate all-stars for whom work is a hobby and never a chore. We are looking for people with the drive, motivation and talent to succeed in a fast-paced environment with an open structure.

You are:
You are a business development hotshot. You've mastered the art of the presentation and your uncanny ability to identify a prospect's pain points mean that when you speak, they listen. You understand the service-based world of advertising and commercials. You have the know-how to speak intelligently about video, film and commercial production in a way that relates back with pinpoint accuracy to the client's needs.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be identifying potential leads, developing and maintaining a database of sales prospects, setting up meetings and creating the materials needed to convert those meetings into sales. You'll need to initiate and manage relationships with potential clients on a continuous basis. The sales cycle in our industry is oftentimes long and difficult, so you'll need to be persistent and vigilant in your approach. You'll need to work collaboratively with New Business and other teams on RFP's, meetings, presentations etc. Through it all, you'll be juggling multiple opportunities and constantly adapting to changing market and competitive conditions.

Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2 or more years developing new business accounts required
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Ability to write reports, presentations and general business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present results to management, clients and employees
- Strong reasoning ability. Must be able to recognize and define problems, collect information, establish facts and suggest conclusions based on information provided
- Ability to self-manage and the work ethic to thrive with minimal direction
