AutoCAD Technician Needed ASAP! (LAX Airport)

Adecco Staffing is recruiting for a land surveying company in need of a CAD technician. It is a temporary contracted position for a project lasting a few months at LAX airport. The position needs to be filled as soon as possible! The position will start out full-time and wind down to part time hours as the project progresses toward completion. POSITION DUTIES:
- Coordinates the drafting of projects to ensure that projects are clomplete within technical, project, budgetary, and time-line constraints.
- Reviews projects for compliance with Company policies and standards.
- Works under minimum supervision to prepare finished drawing from very complex and detailed sketched, notes, layouts, and writtena nd verbal instructions.
- Trains or provides assistance to less experienced technicians to help them resolve difficult operating tasks or drawing production problems.
- Prepares calculations and staking notes for Field Crews.
- Performs research of recorded documents of survey deeds.
- Prepares drafting estimates for potential projects.
- ALSO completes administrative tasks such as: processing field work tickets, scanning and submitting various daily and weekly reports, processing field crew timesheets, basic filing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferably has Associates Degree or higher in Surveying/Engineering, however not required
- 2+ years of experience
- Effective drafting presentation skills and throrough knowledge of AutoCAD and related software (Civil 3D preferred)
