Sr Accounting Manager/Asst. Controller
$125K + 30-40% Bonus + Equity
Billion dollar global manufacturing/distribution conglomerate located in NYC seeks entrepreneur with 6+ years large manufacturing industry experience a MUST. (CPA, BIG 4 and Public/Private a BIG +) Responsible for hands on and ability to supervise high-powered team. Responsible for monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statement process (Hyperion, Cognos or SAP a +). Overall maintenance of business planning, annual budgets and quarterly projections. Act as key technical expert for all accounting transactions and issues. Coordinate financial accounting, reporting and controls as well as GAAP for both US and global entities. Conduct key analysis and risk assessment. Ability to implement policies and procedures to support all business lines. Knowledge of inventory and costs a +. Perform special projects and report directly to Vice President of Finance. Work closely with Controller and CFO. Ability to develop reporting packages to drive business. Interface with global business accounting and finance leaders. Microsoft Suite.
