Downtown Kids Apparel Company has immediate opening for an experienced Technical Designer. This individual will be responsible for inputting garment details into detailed tech packs that can be used in production and passed to overseas factories. This position requires an ability to take information from design, pattern makers, CAD's, samples and translating them for production. Candidates will need to be a team player and have the ability to follow direction and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in creating Tech Packs for kids garments.
Advanced MS Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator skills.
Knowledgeable in NGC/PLM system.
Expert in cut and sew process, understands garment construction and understands the pattern making process.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
