Director, Online Operations
Seeking world-class talent to join well-established Entertainment Company. The Director of Online Operations will play a key technology leadership role within the Company. Person will manage highly talented technology team, and lead the efforts to build and run a world-class customer facing web and mobile technology operations organization. Person will provide leadership to the online team, fully execute successful online campaigns, increase sales, generate new internet revenue streams, and expand the company's position as an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
Overall site technology operations for several sites and mobile (mobileweb and applications)
Drive key operational metrics including site performance, incidents and chronic problems, site traffic and conversion, etc.
Define and deliver robust monitoring solutions for all key business transactions, application processes, middleware, and infrastructure
Build the Web Infrastructure Architecture for high availability, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery
Select, develop, and motivate eCommerce technology staff
Expand web marketing programs and support expansion into an online power brand
Optimize marketing mix across multiple channels
Partner with direct and brand marketing teams to develop and deploy brand-driven web messaging and promos
Utilize reporting tools to track online marketing campaigns
Lead development and integration of CRM technology within the marketing channel
Manage digital technology infrastructure
Direct mobile and emerging media marketing initiatives
Requirements:
7 years experience in technology and/or business management
3+ years management experience
Bachelors degree required (Computer Science or Engineering fields)
Experience with management and delivery of large-scale eCommerce development programs, hardware and software web infrastructure
Thorough knowledge interactive media (all channels and pricing models)
Extensive online advertising/search experience with strong background in affiliate and email marketing
Demonstrated experience with social media and mobile programs
Strong working knowledge of all current programming languages
Experience using NATS reporting tool a plus
Ability to multitask, handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
Proven track record aligning marketing strategy with business goals
