Advertising Copywriter (San Gabriel)

A freelance art director from New York is looking for a talented freelance copywriter to write snappy, witty, brand-reinforcing copy for a variety of mediums. The ideal candidate is someone who can create unique brand personality through clever, well-written copy.

Qualifications
Actually Write--that is, be able to write compelling and grammatically clean long-form website copy as well as effective headlines, taglines, and calls to action.
Experience with brand development; corporate and consumer projects.
Experience with social media outlets: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.
Experience with web video/animation script; narrative development.
Experience with brand development and content strategy is a plus.

Attributes
A strong desire to do brand-building, product-selling, and award-winning work.
A strong marketing sense and an interest in helping to develop campaign platforms that can work across channels.
The ability to collaborate, to take constructive criticism, and to seek out and act on peer/client feedback--call this "people skills" or what have you--which is essential to good team chemistry and client relations.
Be comfortable writing in multiple styles and for multiple formats.
A minimum of three years' experience in advertising, experiential and/or digital.

Applicant's portfolio should demonstrate strong conceptual abilities, standout creative thinking and exceptional writing skills, with instincts for experiential communications. We are looking for good ideas that are not just creatively fresh but strategically sound and on brand, too. Please include samples of your work included with your resume.
