50+ year old Food Distribution company seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to be the liasion between purchasing, production, distribution, sales inventory. Prepare documented sales forecast by item which requires interfacing with sales to assemble data on customers' forecasted product needs sales trends. Establish minimum/maximum inventory levels by coordinating with production, sales distribution. Recommend quantity, pack brands to order based on sales forecast, stock to sales ratios, historical buys, recurring buys, current inventory levels. Interface with suppliers to assure they ship when required. Communicates to all departments the expected timing of incoming product shortages, if any.
